Episode Two: The Bunker

Shooting on Location in Miami Florida!

Underground horror author Joseph M. Monks began principle photography as the worlds first blind director on Friday August 19th in Miami, Florida and will continue shooting through out the fall on locations in New York and Los Angeles. Once shooting is finished, Mr. Monks partner and associate producer Hart D. Fisher will edit the film in Los Angeles at the Crime Pays Inc. post production facilities.

“I’m really excited to be working on a ground breaking project like this” said Mr. Fisher. “Not only is Joe Monks one of my best friends on the planet, he’s also one of the most talented people I’ve ever met, and if anyone can pull off directing without his sight, it’s him. Flowers on the Razorwire is one of my babies, I wouldn’t trust it to someone I didn’t have the utmost confidence in.

Joe’s put together an all star team of actors and technicians for this, he’s really going for broke on this project, including building an actual Bunker in his own house. I’ve been on the phone with his crew and the word I hear about the footage is ‘Amazing’. I can’t wait to get my hands on the material and get cutting.”

Starring horror directors Terry (Flesh For The Beast) West, Ted (Deadly Spawn, Hell on Earth) Bohus and fresh blood Saskia Gonzalez, The Bunker is the story of a spoiled snot nosed congressman’s daughter who runs away only to be snatched off of the streets by a brutal serial killer who imprisons and tortures her in an underground bunker. While the clock is ticking in a madman’s personal dungeon, authorities race against time to find her. Whether they find a warm or cold body or nothing at all remains to be seen. Flowers on the Razorwire: Episode Two: The Bunker is slated for a Summer of 2006 release on DVD and will include an original comic book packaged inside the DVD case. Creators for the comic book will be announced at a later date.
Flowers on the Razorwire is an ongoing film series that is a mixture of Tales From The Crypt and Zalman King’s Red Shoe Diaries. Styled as an erotic thriller/crime/horror anthology Flowers on the Razorwire features a mixture of only the best writers, visual effects people, Hollywood actors and fresh new Japanese actresses taking advantage of the current Asian horror boom ala The Grudge, The Ring or Old Boy. Each episode will be introduced by the series host, a psychotic Dominitrix named Flower who stalks from city to city, finding victims through the underground sex trades. Flower stalks her prey, gets him in a compromising position and delivers to him an ultimatum- “Tell me a story scary enough to keep me from killing you, slowly, oh so slowly...”
