Here’s a man I didn’t agree with, but the politics have been more than adequately discussed at this point I think. I will take a moment to note that while I never liked Bedtime For Bonzo (51), I absolutely love Dark Victory (39).

Beyond film I could listen to that man tell stories all day and well into the night. I thoroughly enjoyed his interviews on television before and during his presidency.

I never voted for him.

Nonetheless, as I watched the service broadcast from the library last Friday I found that I had to stand up in salute. An American President was passing.
