Dances With Films is setting the stage to bring the 15th year of its unique brand to Los Angeles audiences with more world premieres and original films from across the U.S. and abroad. The Ghastly Love of Johnny X is proud to be among the films chosen to play at this year's festival, which will be showcased at the famed Chinese Theatres in Hollywood, 6801 Hollywood Blvd., at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
The Ghastly Love of Johnny X is a 35mm independent motion picture presented in GhastlyScope – an exciting retro-style hybrid feature film about a gang of juvenile delinquents from outer space that blends1950s sci-fi, melodrama, song-and-dance, and a touch of horror into a mesmerizing big screen spectacular.
The cast includes hot new stars Will Keenan and De Anna Joy Brooks, as well as seasoned professionals Creed Bratton (The Office), Reggie Bannister (Phantasm), Paul Williams (Phantom of the Paradise) and the late Kevin McCarthy (Invasion of the Body Snatchers) in his final role.
